This image was one of a group I created as concepts for Reebok to show the hand-off of NBA sponsorship from Nike. Reebok won the rights to supply the NBA with jerseys and to sell those jerseys to the public, so the design team wanted to focus on the jersey and the stitched logo as a theme. For this concept, I created an image of Steve Francis as a stitched patch by hand in Photoshop from a stock image of the player taken during an NBA game. I then placed this onto an image of white NBA jersey material. This stitched patch image was used in Reebok NBA ads that ran in major U.S. publications.
