This image was one of a group I created as concepts for Reebok to show the hand-off of NBA sponsorship from Nike. Reebok won the rights to supply the NBA with official jerseys and to sell those jerseys to the public, so the design team wanted to focus on the jersey and the stitched logo as a theme. For the first image, I created the Reebok logo as a stitched version by hand in Photoshop based off a scan of the actual stitched Reebok logo. I created hanging threads, and shadows for those threads, to create a realistic effect over the image of the white NBA jersey material. In the second image, I showed the Reebok logo replacing the Nike logo by creating stitch holes in the shape of a swoosh, implying the Nike logo stitches were removed and the Reebok logo sewn in it's place. These stitched logos were used in Reebok NBA ads that ran in major U.S. publications.
