These images were two of a group I created as concepts for Reebok to showcase the re-design and re-release of their Pump shoe from the 80's. The art director wanted to focus on the pump air-bladder shape as a theme, so I was asked to create hero images using a rendering of the air-bladder provided to me by the 3D rendering team. I selected stock photography that I felt was right for each image concept and composited the rendering and photo together, making any retouching or color-corrections and adding any highlights or shadows necessary to achieve a photo-realistic effect. The design team then made comps with these images which were presented to the client.
