This image was one of a group I created as concepts for Reebok Classics ads featuring actress Samaire Armstrong, most well-known for her role in the show, The OC. I was given a press photo of Samaire and asked to create an illustration based on that image. The art director wanted a smooth, painterly effect, so I used techniques in Photoshop to achieve that result. I then provided this image to the design team for use in making comp ads which were then shown to Reebok and to Samaire and her representatives.
