This image was one of a group I created as concepts for Reebok to celebrate the Olympics. Since the Olympics was taking place in Athens, the art director wanted to focus on ancient Greece and the first Olympics as a theme. For this concept, I was asked to turn an image of a model wearing a laurel into a 3-dimensional bust statue while still retaining some detail from the original photo. Using the model as a guide in Photoshop, I re-drew certain areas, used various Photoshop techniques and created areas of shadows and highlights to achieve the look of a statue. I created two versions with different contrast looks. The design team then made comps using these images that were presented to the client.
