This image was one of a group created as concepts for Reebok to celebrate the Olympics. Since the Olympics was taking place in Athens, the art director wanted to focus on ancient Greece and the first Olympics as a theme. For this concept, I was asked to turn an image of a model wearing a laurel into a bas relief in marble. Taking an image of marble from another photo, I used the model as a guide in Photoshop and created areas of shadows and highlights to achieve the look of the photo as a bas relief. The design team then made comps using this image that were presented to the client.
