This image was part of a group of ads created for Reebok to showcase their official NBA footwear with a concept of lifestyle-focused feel rather than sports-focused feel. I took digital photos of the actual shoes and then created sketchy drawings in Photoshop. For one group, I was asked to create solid drawings in a sketchy, marker style, and for another group, I was asked to create the same effect while keeping some original shading from the photo, creating a wash-like effect. I was also asked to apply the same sketchy style to a type headline provided by the design team. I provided these images to the design team for comps which were then presented to the client.
