This image was part of a group of ad comps created for Reebok showing Yao Ming as an action figure. I was supplied an actual Yao Ming action figure created by the 3D modeling team. Then, I was given stock images to place that action figure into. I took digital photos of the action figure in poses appropriate for compositing into each image. I then silhouetted and color-corrected the digital photos, placed the silhouetted action figures onto the background images and added shadows and highlights to the background images to create a more photo-realistic effect. These comps were then presented to the client.
