The design team wanted to use this image of a basketball player for an ad, but they needed me to replace his current shoes with the featured Reebok shoes. I shot digital photos of the featured Reebok Crossover shoes from angles matching the player's foot positions, silhouetted the shoes and applied them to the player's feet replacing his existing shoes. After color-correction and silhouetting the player, I then placed the new image in a Photoshop file already created by the design team, and created masks to reveal the shoes over the criss-cross effect. This Reebok NBA ad ran in major U.S. publications.
