The art director wanted to create a gritty feel for a series of ads announcing new releases from the Reebok footwear lines ATR, S. Carter and Iverson. The art director purchased a wood type hand-printed alphabet sheet from a local type-setting artist for use as the font for the new ads. I helped the design team lay out this type for ads, creating low-res comps in Photoshop. Once selects were chosen by the client, I created the hi-res versions including silhouetting the shoe product shots and any color-corrections and retouching required for all the source materials. These ads ran in major U.S. publications.
