Reebok wanted to create a series of ads featuring a lifestyle shoe called the "DJ shoe." I shot photos of the DJ shoe, a crate of records, and individual record albums. I made any color-corrections or retouching as needed, silhouetted all the source images, and composited them together in different ways to create images for the design team. For these images, I composited a pair of Reebok DJ shoes onto a photo of scattered records and CDs, and then composited that image onto a stock image of a shag carpet, adding shadows to shoes, records and CDs for a more realistic effect. For another version, I added a previous composite of the DJ shoe as a record cover onto the scattered records and CDs. The design team then made ad comps with these images which were presented to the client.
