Sun Microsystems: Sun Microsystems AMD Opteron Ad

I created the hi-res version of this image for publication following a comp from the design team. The client wanted this ad to remain consistent with previous ads featuring an abstract, streaky, blue aurora effect. I modified the supplied blue, purple and green aurora effect in Photoshop and then overlaid a 3/4 image of the AMD Opteron Server in a way that achieved the client's desired result for the background image. I also created the silhouette of the AMD Opteron Server foreground image. I was responsible for all hi-res color-correction and retouching. This ad ran in InfoWeek Magazine and other major U.S. publications.
