Sun Microsystems: NASA Mars Rover Ad

I created the hi-res version of this image for publication following a comp from the design team. The client wanted this ad to remain consistent with previous ads featuring an abstract, streaky, blue aurora effect while also including an image of Mars taken by the NASA Mars Rover. I created the blue aurora effect in Photoshop and then blended that into the provided image of Mars in a way that achieved the client's desired result. I was responsible for all hi-res color-correction and retouching. This ad ran in InfoWeek and other major U.S. publications.
