The band wanted to make a sweatshirt based on an "Ugly Christmas Sweater" concept. I made all artwork including trees, dollar signs, and other traditional sweater patterns in a stair-step style to make it look as if it was a knit pattern. I changed "Mindless Self Indulgence" to "Merry Self Indulgence" and then created a pattern of the logo in such a way as to mimic snowflakes. The band wanted two colorways, so I created two versions of the design for a black and a red sweatshirt shell. I created mockups showing art in position, and sent the full-size art and mockups to the merch production company.
