The band wanted to make a sweatshirt based on a "Collegiate Sweatshirt" concept. After researching other college sweatshirts, I drew the college crest illustration in Illustrator, chose a font with a collegiate look, and laid out the type in the style of a traditional college sweatshirt. The band wanted to create two designs, one which referenced the band's "established date" of 1998 and one that referred to the locations that the band members called home, NYC and LA. I created mockups showing art in position, and sent the full-size art and mockups to the merch production company.
