The band wanted to make a tour T-shirt to be sold at shows during their US and UK/European tour for the album How I Learned to Stop Giving a Shit and Love Mindless Self Indulgence. The band preferred a black T-shirt shell, but a feature of their live shows was an after-show signing by band members using black markers. My solution was to create a "Signing" Shirt, a black T-shirt with four white printed areas for each band member to sign with a black marker. This would drive sales and create a collectible aspect to the shirt. I used the band's new logo and filled it with an art background from the album for the front design. I then used the front art to create the "#MSITOUR2013" type for the back and used the album font for the list of tour dates. At the bottom, I created an area for the owner of the shirt put their name. I created a T-shirt mockup showing art in position, and sent the full-size art and mockup to the merch production company.
