The band was working with an illustrator named Vasilis to make graphics for a T-shirt to be sold in Hot Topic stores. This Gorilla design was one of the illustrations chosen by the band, but they wanted to put their band name into the design. So I drew a custom illustration in Photoshop for the band name in the style of the original art so that it fit into the Gorilla's open mouth. I created a T-shirt mockup showing art in position, and sent the full-size art and mockup to the band for approval.
