HCES: Spring Benefit 2016 Logo
I donated pro bono work on this project for Hunter College Elementary School. The lead in charge of the project asked me to create a logo for the 2016 Spring Benefit and Auction. I was given a 1920's Circus theme as a beginning and a few elements they wanted to use, like the phrase "Under The Big Top, A Night of Curiosities." I decided to use the big top tent literally in this case and produced a B&W version of the logo (IMG 2) and then many variations as options, showing color ideas using the Hunter purple color and Hunter logo in my designs as well as one-color ideas emphasizing better readability at smaller sizes. The committee ended up going with a different logo idea, using a hot air balloon image, which I used when designing the booklet for this event.
